How Does Minus33 Fit?

Our most common fit is called regular. It runs true to size and isn’t that super tight sport fit you might find with synthetic brands. It’s for the everyday person, every activity or occupation. We suggest purchasing the same size you would get in a basic cotton T-shirt or underwear.

What If I Am Between Sizes?

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up. Do I need to size up/down to layer?

Generally, no, you do not need to purchase a different size than normal. Our base layers are designed to fit right into your current layering system. They are also designed to work with other products in our line, too. You may wish to adjust your sizing if you plan to wear one of our garments in a way that it is not intended, if that's the case please feel free to contact our customer service team for help.

A SOCK OVERHAUL

We got our sock machines set up in May of 2019, and hit the ground running. We knew our customers wanted a sock for every occasion, with heights and cushion levels for all activities. By combining our historic textile knowledge, and using what we learned after redesigning our classic sock styles, we were able to envision a brand new sock collection that could truly meet your needs.

WOOL/NYLON YARNS

We dialed in our yarn selection, using a combination of merino/nylon as the main body of the socks. These yarns deliver a high merino wool content, with the extra durability of nylon.

HIGH WOOL CONTENT

We have packed in huge quantities of wool next to your skin, using the synthetics only as needed to improve fit and durability.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Stretch nylon yarns are light enough to keep the merino content high while giving shape and fit to the sock. Lightweight plating also adds durability to high wear zones on the heel and toe.

Most of my life I spent working outside through the winter in snow and below freezing temperatures. Many days ALL day. And I’ve been wearing Minus33 products for years, not just their socks. All of their products allowed me to stay outside, to stay warm, and to stay dry the whole time. I used to wear some other socks from a very popular ‘intelligent’ wool manufacturing company. There’s no comparison. These socks not only keep your feet warm and dry, but the particular blend of materials wear like no other. I no longer work outside that much, but I still have the same crew socks that have lasted for years, and I still wear them. No thin spots worn through the heels and no holes, they’re practically the same as when I got them and they go through the washer and dryer with no troubles. I would always recommend getting the full-cushion, but that’s me. I’m all about the comfort.

Great socks but for the tight top elastic

I like everything else about these socks except the narrow tight elastic top. I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, on my feet all day and looking for socks to wear all day every day. I love all the Minus33 products that I've tried yet, so I will keep searching the sock inventory to find something that will stay up without eliminating my circulation so much.

Pure comfort
