Our most common fit is called regular. It runs true to size and isn’t that super tight sport fit you might find with synthetic brands. It’s for the everyday person, every activity or occupation. We suggest purchasing the same size you would get in a basic cotton T-shirt or underwear.
What If I Am Between Sizes?
If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up. Fit FAQs
Do I need to size up/down to layer?
Generally, no, you do not need to purchase a different size than normal. Our base layers are designed to fit right into your current layering system. They are also designed to work with other products in our line, too. You may wish to adjust your sizing if you plan to wear one of our garments in a way that it is not intended, if that's the case please feel free to contact our customer service team for help.

MICRO WEIGHT
MERINO WOOL
Woolverino's Core Spun Technology brings you a merino garment that is durable, athletically fitted, and high-performing. Warm when you need it. Cool when you don't.
Micro Details
Micro weight gives you a feather-light option. Micro is ideal as your base layer, underwear, or on its own when the temps heat up. Merino’s moisture-wicking properties keep you cool when you’re on the move. Core Spun yarn provides extra durability while still offering merino's super soft, insulative, and moisture wicking properties next to the skin. Nylon inner core offers strength, elasticity, resiliency, and durability. Merino Wool outer sheath provides insulation, moisture wicking, and UV protection.
Core Spun yarn provides extra durability while still offering merino's properties next to the skin. The nylon inner core is wrapped with Merino Wool and a touch of spandex for stretch.
Moisture Wicking
Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.
Anti-Microbial
Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.
Insulates When Wet
Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.
UV Protection
Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.
Renewable
Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.
TOTAL EASY CARE
MACHINE WASH AND DRY
Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today's busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying.
Even after frequent laundering they retain an 'as new' appearance. They won't shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment.
I run hot so I have a different experience than most but for me it seems too hot for hard efforts but not hot enough to just wear around town without being my ears being uncomeatable. still a great hat and maybe as temps drop it will work out better for my runs.
Randy,
Thank you for sharing your experience with our Woolverino Micro Weight Reversible Shade Beanie. We appreciate your feedback and understand that everyone's body temperature is different. It's great to hear that the hat is still a great option for you and we hope that as the temperatures drop, it will continue to be a reliable choice for your runs. If you have any further feedback or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

The tag/label sewn into the seam makes this non-reversible
Overall a great hat, with a comfortable fit. Only complaint is the tag is sewn into the seam on the reverse side, making this hat a non-reversible hat, unless of course you don't mind the white tag (that cannot be fully removed without damaging the wool) on the outside of your hat. If the tag was attached in the same way that it is on the cuffed hats, that would make it so much easier to remove. It is still worth it and I am keeping the hat, just know it is not a clean cut to make it truly reversible.
Belinda, thank you for your feedback on our Woolverino Micro Weight Reversible Shade Beanie! We're glad to hear that you find the fit comfortable. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the tag being sewn into the seam on the reverse side. We'll definitely take this into consideration for future designs. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we hope you continue to enjoy your hat!
Best,
-Steven D

Great hat!
Great hat. It’s the perfect weight, packs small, and keeps your noggin warm. I’d give it five stars if it didn’t take an hour of delicate surgery to remove the tag sewn into the seam.
Philip,
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you love our Micro Weight beanie and that it keeps you warm. We apologize for the inconvenience with the tag and will make sure to address this issue in our future productions. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Thank you for supporting Minus33!

Always high quality gear. Love this company. Would swaddle myself from head to toe if I could. I should say, I will swaddle myself from head to toe eventually. Only a few more purchases.

Nice warmth for its weight. The only downside is having to cut the huge tag on the inside of a "reversible hat". That was obnoxious.
Alex,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! I will forward your inquiry over to our product development team to see what alternatives we can come up with for this!
