Our most common fit is called regular. It runs true to size and isn’t that super tight sport fit you might find with synthetic brands. It’s for the everyday person, every activity or occupation. We suggest purchasing the same size you would get in a basic cotton T-shirt or underwear.

What If I Am Between Sizes?

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up. Micro weight gives you a feather-light option. Micro is ideal as your base layer, underwear, or on its own when the temps heat up. Merino’s moisture-wicking properties keep you cool when you’re on the move. Core Spun yarn provides extra durability while still offering merino's super soft, insulative, and moisture wicking properties next to the skin. Nylon inner core offers strength, elasticity, resiliency, and durability. Merino Wool outer sheath provides insulation, moisture wicking, and UV protection.

Why Merino Wool?

Core Spun Technology

Core Spun yarn provides extra durability while still offering merino's properties next to the skin. The nylon inner core is wrapped with Merino Wool and a touch of spandex for stretch.

Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.

Anti-Microbial

Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.

Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.

UV Protection

Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.

Renewable

Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.

MACHINE WASH AND DRY

Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today's busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying.

Even after frequent laundering they retain an 'as new' appearance. They won't shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment.

Like the shirt, hate the collar.

I bought two, the hoodie and the regular 3/4 zip. Good fit and function, but I really hate the collar. The zipper comes up too high and there're really no practical way to leave it partially unzipped. It stands up and waves like a flag if it's not zipped. I may look into things like velcro stays or even shortening the zipper to make it more comfortable.

Best Choice for Warm Body Person

For those who sleep with minimal covers and don't need the heaviest coat, this is the choice. I purchased these for 2 of my "warm body" adult sons, and they are perfect for base layer. Wool, but comfortable and not over heating them

Mixed feelings review

I love my Woolverino not only for hiking but casual wear but you have to treat them gently. The underside of my forearms on both sleeves wore right through in a year. This time I’m not going to put them in the dryer and see if that makes a difference.Minus33 has great merino, but merino must be treated gently. It’s well worth the extra attention.
